This Minitrial #78 is inspired by Tetsu’s Minitrial #61, which *was* a little controversial, but overall, I thought it was a lot of fun! (Maybe that’s because I won, though.)

This is a pretty generic fantasy world. No knowledge of any fantasy world is required to participate. Anything that would be expected knowledge will be given during trials, or will otherwise be specified by me, the host.
I don’t know how popular this mini is going to be, but I am going to cap sign ups if I think there are too many, so keep that in mind. Also, I know that MT74 was ultimately not my best work, and by the end I was really just, kinda super out of it and didn’t post results. I am sorry about that, and would like to thank Magnus for doing that for me. I don’t know if I publicly thanked him for it, but I really do appreciate doing that.
Setting:
A bounty has been posted in the town of Pepplefen. Very little is really said about it though, you're just supposed to bring in a serial killer, alive, who has been known to lurk in the woods to the north. This bounty had been posted all throughout the surrounding area, as these woods are vital for commerce in the region, and as such the reward is massive.
You decide that you're up to the task, for one reason or another, and make your way to Pepplefen. It's still mid-afternoon, and the killer is suspected to only lurk at night, So you might as well spend the night on the town, stocking up and meeting the locals before your hunt.
As you arrive, you spot a group of other people arriving. They appear as if they were here for the bounty too.
